Honolulu Waldorf School, a private, independent, coeducational college and career preparatory day school, is part of the rapidly growing international community of Rudolf Steiner, or Waldorf, schools. Waldorf schools educate children through an age-appropriate curriculum, developing their capacity to think as well as their artistic and practical skills.
Founded in 1994, Honolulu Waldorf School's High School campus is located in 'Aina Haina, a suburban district seven miles from downtown Honolulu. The High School graduated its first class in 1998. The entire school's current enrollment is 305, with 68 students in grades 9 through 12. The heterogeneous racial, religious, ethnic, and economic composition of the school's population reflects the community's exciting diversity.
The purpose of the Honolulu Waldorf School College Counseling program is to help students learn how to apply to the various colleges of their interest and explore gap year and career options.
